ORAFEN® SR Tablet: Each sustained release tablet contains Diclofenac Sodium BP 100 mg
ORAFEN®SR is indicated in the following conditions. Tablet: Inflammatory and degenerative froms of Rheumatism: Rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, acute gout. Acute musculoskeletal disorders: Periarthritise (e.g: frozen sholder), tendinitis, tenosynovitis, bursitis. Pain and Inflammation: Acute musculoskeletal disorders and back pain, Post-traumatic and postoperative pain, inflammation, and swelling, e.g. following dental or orthopaedic surgery, Painful inflammatory conditions in gynaecology and primary dysmenorrhea, fever and pain associated with inflammatory infections of the upper respiratory tract.
Tablet: The recommended daily dose is one tablet preferable at meal time, for rare patient where 100mg/day is unsatisfactory, the dose may be increased to 100 mg b.i.d. if the benefits outweigh the clinical risks of increased side effects.
