Ranoxen® 250 Tablets: Each tablet contains Naproxen USP 250 mg.

Ranoxen® 500 Tablets: Each tablet contains Naproxen USP 500 mg.

Ranoxen® is indicated for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis and juvenile rheumatoid arthritis. Ranoxen® is also indicated for the treatment of tendonitis, bursitis, acute gout, for the management of pain, primary dysmenorrheal, migraine treatment and prophylaxis.

Onset or pain relief can begin within 1 hour in patients taking Naproxen. A lower dose should be considered in patients with renal or hepatic impairments or in elderly patients. Adults Rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis and ankylosing spondylitis: The recommended dose of Naproxen is 250 mg or 500 mg taken twice daily (morning and evening) or single daily dose of 500-1000mg given morning or evening, or 500 mg taken twice daily or a single daily dose of 1000 mg given in the evening. During long- time administration the dose of naproxen may be adjusted up or down depending on the clinical response of the patient. Acute gout: The recommended starting dose is of 750 mg, followed by 250 mg every 8 hours until the attack has subsided. Dysennorhoea: 500mg should be given initially, followed by 250 mg at 6 to 8 hours intervals for up to 5 days. Analgesia and acute muscular skeletal disorders: 500 mg should be given initially, followed by 250 mg at 6 to 8 hours intervals. Children over 5 years Juvenile rheumatoid arthritis: 10 mg/ kg/ day given as 2 divided doses at 12 hours intervals.
